Get InvolvedWho We Are
Since 1982, neighbors here have raised the barns, worked the check-in tables, and kept the lights on so Sabine County's 4-H and FFA kids have a place to show what they've worked all year on. That work runs year-round, under the Sabine County Agricultural Improvement Youth Foundation, a volunteer board of people who'd rather be at the arena than anywhere else.
Waking up before school. Feeding before dinner. Practicing speeches. Welding after dark.
Our youth learn responsibility, resilience, and pride in doing a job right.
What Happens Here
From the county's own livestock show to the rodeo to the fundraisers that keep it all running, it happens on this ground in Hemphill. Here's where to find what you came for.
Nine divisions across one weekend, from heifers and steers to baking, photography, and public speaking. Entries, rules, and deadlines all run through Showman.app.

Sabine County's own rodeo, run right here in the same arena the Show uses, by the same neighbors who run the Show.

Barrel racing clubs, weddings, reunions, church events. Between show seasons, the arena and grounds are open for rent.
See Venue RentalsThe Show and the Rodeo are not the only things on the calendar. Spring Fest, the skeet shoots, and the BBQ cook-off raise the money that keeps this ground open. Dates go up on Facebook as the board sets them. Follow Along on Facebook
Not Just Talk
Since 1982. Nine divisions and every kind of kid with a way in. A volunteer board of neighbors who show up year after year. That's the proof, and it's the kind you can't fake with a number.
“It offers so many different opportunities for youth to showcase their passions and talents.”

“Showing at the county show has always meant so much to me. It gave me a place to showcase my love for baking and photography and helped shape my confidence, creativity, and work ethic. Now it is an honor to give back as an adult and support our local county show!”
